New Rule for 2015 Regular Season
If the score remains tied after 7 innings, beginning in the 8th inning, all batters will start with a 1-1 count. If the game remains tied after 9 innings, in addition to the 1-1 count on each batter, the last batter from the previous inning will start the 10th (and any necessary subsequent innings) on second base. This speed up extra innings rule will only be used in the Regular Season.

Detour Dave Sandler Honored at 2012 Old-Timer's Game
Almost 40 former PMSL players from the 1970'-90's participated in the 1st Annual PMSL Old-Timer's Game on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Northwest Regional Park. Money from the event was raised for The Nikki Perlow Foundation ( http://www.nikkiperlowfoundation.org ) . Following their arrival at NWRP, the alumni players took to the fields for fielding and batting practice. When it was time for the game on NWRP #1, the players gathered for the opening pitch ceremonies recognizing Kings Detour Dave Sandler.

2015 Bat Regulations for PMSL

PMSL allows only bats that fit a very strict description. All bats used in play must conform to the following:

Non- Composite barrel.
Non- Composite handle.
ASA 2004 or 2008 Approved

There has been confusion in the past on this topic, and the only thing allowed to be composite on a bat and used in PMSL is the grip, and ONLY the grip. All composite bats, composite-like, and “half and half” bats are ILLEGAL. All bat inquiries should be brought to Mark Winkel directly. Bats that are illegal for game use may also not be used for batting practice.

This list is not exclusive, and if anyone has a bat that is new for 2015 and fits our descriptions and isn’t on our list, feel free to email it to me so I can add it.

E-mail Mark Winkel --  itsnaturaltobeafraid@gmail.com at any time so it can be determined if a bat is legal or not. If when you bring a bat to Mark at the fields, and there are any questions if a bat is legal or not, it will not be allowed until research on it to see if it conforms.

Penalties for Illegal Bats:
If a bat is used that is illegal, the 1st offense is a fine to the offending player of $25, and also a $50 fine to the team. The fines are on a per at-bat basis. $25/$50 for every at-bat the bat is used. (an at-bat is determined by a 1 pitch minimum).

2nd offense in the same season by a team is a forfeiture of any game in which an illegal bat is used.
