2001 Playoff Champions
Attman's Deli
The 2001 Attman's team was led offensively by Dave Sandler, Robbie Ressin, Brian
Wolf, Lee Eidelberg, and Scott Moffet. The new additions of Reggie Ellis, Ricky
Farley, and Matt Bell proved to be significant contributors to a team that lost
four regulars to retirement. The Championship could not have been won
without their determination and team play throughout the year. Thanks to
all!!!!
Attman's Deli softball team (formerly Manny's Motas) has compiled a record of
401 wins and 99 losses since the 1986 season. They have been the regular season
champions 12 times-- 1986, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91, 92, 94, 96, 97, 99, and now 2000.
They have been the tournament champions 7 times-- 1987, 91, 92, 94, 97, 98, and
now 2001. The team still has 3 original members from 1980 when they were managed
by Stan "the fan" Charles. Since 1986, pitcher Bruce Eisenberg has
compiled an amazing record of 269-63.
