The big hit was a 2 run single by Reggie Ellis (3-4, 2 runs scored and 3 rbi's). Overall the Turtles had 23 hits, with everyone contributing at least one.  Eisey was the winner (1-0)...Sonny lost as the Watches starter (0-1).

Game 2

In game two the Turtles trailed after two innings 7-3, but came up with a another six run tally, this time in the 3rd and outlasted the Watches 10-9 with some great defense.  New third baseman Rob Gould came up with many stellar plays at the hot corner and blasted a 2 run triple to the base of the hill in right to key the big inning. Also, coming up big in the 3rd was Lee Eidelberg with his 1st blast of the year. An opposite field shot to left center.  Eisey went the distance again for his second victory. Both Scott Moffet, who hit a solo homer in the 5th that proved to be the difference and defensive magnet LCF Ricky Farley had two hits to lead the Turtles in Game 2.
