2014 Pikesville Men's Softball League Schedule, Highlights and Scores

August 24, 2014-- PMSL week #20
 Kings Win 2014 PMSL Playoffs
 The #3 seeded Kings entered the day needing to sweep the undefeated #1 seeded Sky & Sky Inc. The start time for the Championship was pushed back until 11 A.M. to allow the fields to dry from the previous day's rain. The Championship was a rematch of the 2013 PMSL Finals where the situation was the same. A year ago, the Kings defeated Sky in Round 5, but dropped the Round 6 Finals 5-3. In this year's Round 5, the Kings took 5-0 lead in t-1st keyed by Jan Katzen 2 RBI 1B and Alan Varhaftik RBI 1B. Kings stayed in front the entire way to win 14-4.

In the Round 6 Finals, the Kings took 4-0 lead in t-1st on an early Arin Gelletly homerun. Sky narrowed lead in b-1st and tied score in b-2nd. The Kings scored 3 runs in t-3rd and held on to win 10-8. The PMSL Championship for the Kings was their 5th with previous Playoffs Championships in 1993, 1996, 2005, and 2010.
