Field 1:
Umpire- Reggie Grant
Game 1: Natty O's 17 (WP-RJ Seabeck 9-4)
LOFT 5 (LP-John Reichert 3-4)
After a scoreless first inning to start the game, the
Natty O's would pounce on Big John in the second with 10 of the first 11 batters
reaching base. Justin Bullock started the inning with a base hit, John Christy
would follow that up after he was told to "HIT A TRIPLE". After another 4
singles in a row, Frank "The Catalyst" DiVincenzo would crush another triple and
by the time it was all said and done the O's had put up 9 runs. The O's would
add 2 more runs the next inning when Kris Stahle hit a 2 RBI single to extend
the O's lead to 11. RJ Seabeck had a shutout going for the first 3 frames before
LOFT tried to rally with 2 and 3 runs in the 4th and 5th innings respectively.
However, the O's didn't let LOFT comeback attempt linger. Professional hitter
John Christy led the bottom of the 5th inning off with a single, and was knocked
in by Brad Wandell's triple. Super sub Matt Slamon would come in and immediately
make an impact with an RBI double. With men on 2nd and 3rd, RJ hit a SAC fly
scoring Jonathan Veditz from third and Frank DiVincenzo took advantage of a
nonchalant throw back into the infield, scoring from second base on the SAC fly
and ending the game as the O's slaughtered LOFT in game 1 by a final of 17-5.
Offensive Leaders:
Frank DiVincenzo: 2-4, 2 runs, RBI, 3B
John Christy: 2-3, 3B, RBI, 2 runs
Greg Barr: 2-2, 2 runs, RBI
John Murphy: 3-3, 2 runs, RBI
Jonathan Veditz:
2-3, 2 runs, 2 RBI
Game 2: Natty O's 2 (WP-RJ Seabeck 10-4) LOFT1 (LP-Bob Mallonee 1-5)
The Natty O's jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the top of the
first inning when Nick Meyer slapped a double and was knocked in by an RJ
Seabeck single. Virtually the same thing happened in the top of the 4th inning
when John Christy and Greg Barr doubled and singled to give the O's just their
second and only run of the game. The O's bats would go silent the rest of the
game (With the 1 exception of super sub Matt Salmon), however, it wasn't needed
as RJ Seabeck was dazzling on the mound, shutting down LOFT every time they
seemed to be starting a rally. Changing speeds and moving the ball around along
with solid defense, RJ this time took a shutout into the 5th inning before LOFT
finally put 1 run on the board. With a 2-1 lead going into the bottom of the 6th
inning, RJ reached back and found a little something extra to keep LOFT at 1 run
and give the Natty O's the win when their bats went cold and giving the O's a
regular season sweep of LOFT.

Game 1: Outlaws 9 (WP- Harry Kinsey 4-2) Northwest Corridor 8 (LP-Howard Goldberg 3-5)
The second half of the 2015 PMSL season starts off with an
exciting matchup on field 4, between the Outlaws vs. Northwest Corridor. The
Outlaws are looking for payback, as NWC took two on them in April. Harry Kinsey
toes the rubber for the Outlaws.
In the top of the 1st, the young Outlaws
get on the board, doing all their damage with 2 outs. Theo Battle gets it
started with a single. Martiez Reed singles. Tony Wiggs draws a walk, to load
the bases for Billy Giles. Giles continues his clutch hitting, delivering a 2
RBI single, to score Battle, and Reed. Next batter, Darnell Maxwell comes
through with an RBI single, as Wiggs motors around to score, and give the
Outlaws a 3-0 lead after the 1st.
In the 2nd inning, the Outlaws put
another run on the board, once again with 2 outs. Reggie Molock walks. David
Woods walks. Theo Battle lines a shot to center for an RBI single, to score the
speedy Molock, and extend the lead to 4-0. NWC scores one in the bottom of the
frame to make 4-1 after 2. NWC strikes again in the 3rd, to cut the Outlaws lead
to 2 at 4-2.
In the top of the 4th, the Outlaws put 2 across, as Hector
Medina leads it off with a single. Harry Kinsey singles. Reggie Molock uses the
jets to leg out an infield single, and load em up for David Woods. Woods smokes
a screamer down the left field line, for a 2 RBI double bringing around Medina,
and Maurice Scott who ran for Kinsey, and extending the lead to 6-2. NWC hit the
ball all over the field to knot the score at 6-6 at the end of the 4th. NWC
scores 2 more to take their first lead 8-6 after the 5th.
The Outlaws
running out of time, get back on track in the 6th inning. Stud rookie, Hector
Medina leads it off again, with a single. Harry Kinsey gets a bloop single.
Reggie Molock smashes an RBI double deep in the gap, to bring home Medina, and
cut NWC's lead to one. David Woods steps into the box with runners on second,
and third. Woods continues his hot hitting, with a shot to left center, for an
RBI double to score Kinsey, and Molock, and give to Outlaws the lead for good at
9-8.
NWC tries to rally in the bottom of the 7th, with runners in
scoring position, and 2 outs. NWC batter hits a shot to center, and an awesome,
game saving catch by Maxwell ends the game, and seals the win for the Outlaws
9-8, as they take game 1 in a dogfight of a game.

Game 2: Northwest Corridor 5 (WP- Ted Winner 6-2) Outlaws 1 (LP-Larry Newman 1-9) 8 Innings
Game 2 was all out pitchers duel, as two of the all time best
pitchers in PMSL history go toe-to-toe, and put on a clinic shutting down both
teams high powered offenses. Larry Newman for the Outlaws, and Ted Winner for
NWC were absolutely dealing, pitching 5 shutout innings.
In the top of
the 6th, NWC draws first blood, as the dangerous Upshur Webb, leads it off with
a single, and advances to third on a bap hop in the outfield. Webb scores on a
sac fly giving NWC a 1-0 lead.
The Outlaws knowing its now or never in
the bottom of 7th, and 3 outs to stay in game, finally get on the board. Rookie
of the year candidate, Martiez Reed gets a one out walk. Tony Wiggs after a
tough at bat, also draws a walk to set up first, and second for Billy Giles.
Giles grounds to short, and hustles down to first base to avoid a game ending
double play, as Reed uses his great speed to score from second, and slides into
home to tie the game at 1 and send it to extra innings. NWC gets 4 in the top of
the 8th and pull away for the win, 5-1 in 8 innings, and take the nightcap.
