Field 1:
Umpire- Reggie Grant
Game 1: Natty O's 17 (WP-RJ Seabeck 6-1)
Outlaws 2 (LP-Larry Newman 0-5 ) 5 Innings
Totally awesome action on field 1 as the Outlaws take on the first place Natty O's! The Outlaws started fast as Reggie Molock draws a leadoff walk. Rookie of the year candidate Martiez Reed brings Molock around with an RBI double to get the Outlaws on the board. Theo Battle draws a walk. Billy Giles in his second game in an Outlaws uniform, brings Reed home to put the Outlaws up 2-0 after the bottom of the 1st. The Natty O's get rolling in the 2nd putting 9 on the board, and getting 6 more in the 4th. Seabeck settles in and keeps the Outlaws off the board for the rest of the way as the Natty O's take game 1, 17-2.
The Outlaws put 2 on the board
in the top of the first and held the O's scoreless in the bottom of the
inning to grab an early 2-0 lead. The Natty O's wouldn't be held down for
long however, and exploded for 9 runs in the 2nd thanks to a 7 run 2 out
rally highlighted by 5 straight singles started up by John Murphy and ended
with back to back doubles by Matt Bratter and Justin Bullock. The O's would
put 6 more up in the 3rd when John Christy led the inning off with a triple,
then Greg barr, John Murphy and John Veditz would keep the inning going with
3 singles in a row. The inning was once capped by back to back doubles, this
time by RJ Seabeck and Matt Bratter. RJ wouldn't allow another run, striking
out 4 along the way. The O's would put the game away when Greg Barr singled
in 2 runs to give the O's a 15 run lead and the game.

Game 2:
Outlaws 14 (WP- Harry Kinsey 1-2 )
Natty O's 12 (LP-RJ Seabeck 6-2 )
Game 2 was an all out slugfest,
with 6 lead changes. Harry Kinsey toes the bump for the Outlaws. The O's put up
1 in the bottom of the 1st for an early 1-0 lead. In the bottom of the 1st the
bats came to life for the Outlaws as they get a 5 spot. Reggie Molock gets a
leadoff walk. Martiez Reed walks. Tony Wiggs hits a shot in the gap for a 2 RBI
triple scoring Molock and Reed. Theo Battle gets an RBI sac fly scoring Wiggs.
Billy Giles keeps the rally going with a bloop single. Darnell Maxwell hits an
opposite field RBI triple plating Giles. Maurice Scott brings home Maxwell with
an RBI single to cap off the 1st inning 5-1 Outlaws. Both teams put up doughnuts
in the 2nd. In the top of the 3rd the O's battle back, and put up a 5 spot of
their own to take the lead back at 6-5.
In the bottom of the 3rd, the
Outlaws answer back with 4. David Woods breaks out of his slump with a single.
Martiez Reed singles. Tony Wiggs grounds into a fielders choice. Theo Battle
hits a laser into the gap for a 2 RBI triple bringing in Woods, and Wiggs. Billy
Giles walks. Maurice Scott goes opposite field against the shift, and also gets
a 2 RBI triple bringing home Battle, and Giles to cap off the 4 run inning, and
gave the Outlaws a 9-6 lead. Scott credits the extra power to eating a bowl of
frosted mini wheats for breakfast. The O's answer back putting 6 across the
plate in the top of the 4th, to make the score 12-9.
Seabeck keeps the
Outlaws off the board until the 6th inning when the Outlaws put together another
big inning, and complete the comeback. Larry Newman comes off the bench to
provide the spark, with a leadoff single. Harry Kinsey matches that with a
single of his own. Reggie Molock draws a walk to load the bases. David Woods
steps to the plate with no outs and the game on the line. Woods delivers with a
2 RBI double, scoring Jay Rogers who pinch ran for Nemo, and Kinsey, and pulling
the Outlaws within one at 12-11. Martiez Reed comes up humungous with his third
hit of the game being a 2 RBI double, scoring Molock, and Woods, and giving the
Outlaws the lead 13-12. Tony Wiggs adds an insurance run with an RBI single,
scoring Reed. 14-12 Outlaws. Harry Kinsey works his magic keeping the O's off
the board in the final 3 innings, and securing the Outlaws their first win of
the season 14-12!
The second game of the day
would be a much different affair than the first. The O's would put a run up
in the top of the first when Nick Meyer led the inning off with a triple and
was driven in by an RJ Seabeck double. The outlaws however would put 5 runs
of their own up in the bottom of the first and take a 4 run lead into the
3rd. The O's would rally over the next 2 innings putting up 11 runs, thanks
to a a bases loaded double by Frank DiVincenzo in the 3rd inning and a 2 RBI
double in the 4th by John Murphy followed up by singles from Veditz,
DiVincenzo and Meyer. Even with RJ dealing on the mound, striking out 5
along the way, the Outlaws would be able to put up another 4 runs in their
half of the 3rd inning. The O's would take a 12-9 lead into the bottom of
the 6th, when the outlaws rallied, putting up a 5 spot in improbable fashion
to take the lead 14-12. The O's wouldn't be able to muster any runs in the
7th and the Outlaws got their first win of the season.

Game 1: Nationwide Insurance Bombers 13 (WP-Tzvi Friedman
6-1)
LOFT 2 (LP-Bob Mallonee 1-1)
L.O.F.T. came to the fields looking to continue their
strong hitting after their 20 run performance the week prior. Unfortunately the
bats were shut down by great pitching from Bombers Ace Tzvi Friedman. L.O.F.T.
was only able to scrap across 2 runs over 7 innings. The Bombers jumped on the
board early with 6 in the first and 4 in the 2nd to take a large lead and Tzvi
took over from there to make sure L.O.F.T. was not able to mount any type of
comeback.
Game 2: Nationwide Insurance Bombers 17 (WP-Tzvi Friedman 7-1) LOFT 12 (LP-John Reichert 2-3)
L.O.F.T. looked to bounce back from a rough game 1 and sent John to the mound. Once again the Bombers jumped out to an early lead and never surrendered it. L.O.F.T. kept fighting throughout the game and cut the lead to 4 runs a few times, but they were never able to get any closer as the Bombers kept on hitting to nullify L.O.F.T.’s comeback attempt.
